Legend’s first major commercial development is taking place in the former industrial centre of Widnes, on a 140-acre site on the banks of the River Mersey. The land around Widnes has already attracted interest from developers and businesses, who recognise it as ripe for redevelopment.
Our Widnes Wharf project will demonstrate our commitment to commercial sustainability, transforming the area into a new centre for renewable and clean energy. The development will first introduce a waste-to-energy plant, before exploring further opportunities in clean energy and industry.
GreenYard will be a 13-storey tower development on Rochdale Road – one of the main arteries in and out of Manchester City Centre. Located in the New Cross area, a critical part of the ‘Northern Gateway’ masterplan, GreenYard will be a key step in revitalising and rejuvenating north Manchester.
The rooftop garden terrace on the 13th storey will provide a relaxing space for residents to enjoy views over the city centre. The space on the ground floor has been earmarked for two large commercial units and a residents’ lounge.
